Aura

We had the pleasure of working on the first phase of Aura for Countryside Properties. Aura was part of the wider 269-acre Great Kneighton development in Trumpington, just 3 miles from the centre of Cambridge.

Although this project was completed several years ago, it is still one of our favourites as it had so many interesting elements to it. Award-winning contemporary architecture and a wide range of image types made this project a real joy to work on. We still use some of the imagery created in our portfolio, as the combination of inspirational architecture and our CGI lighting techniques made these images really pop!

Back in 2014, we were pushing the boundaries of technology, just like we are today. We created an Augmented Reality (AR) app for new-build property marketing, as one of the first in the industry! The app we produced was a companion to the brochure - when you point your tablet or phone at the floor plans page, you were presented with a real-time 3D Floor Plan, showing a great 3D representation of the house type. We remain one of the industry leaders in VR, AR and real-time technology, eight years on!

We also delivered an interactive touchscreen app, based on iOS and presented on iPads, which linked wirelessly to the physical scale model in the sale centre. This system made it possible to interact with the model, lighting up plots using colour-coded LED’s which changed colour according to the live sales status of each plot.
