CGIs
Our still image service tends to be that of a bespoke nature because every project is different and we believe it should be approached accordingly. We tackle each image in a way that is the most suitable for its final purpose and we also make the best of the features of each development stand out. Blue Cube’s computer generated image products fall into 5 general categories:-
- External
- Internal
- Photomontage
- 3D Floor Plan
- 3D Site Plan
Our external and internal CGI services have always been the more popular as they are very effective at telling a story and provide excellent visual impact to marketing literature. We will often suggest these images are used to show the highlights of your development.
The third of our CGI products, namely photomontage enables us to provide support for a large number of local and national architects. We assist in planning applications by providing accurately matched, and were necessary, verified images. Our professional architectural photographer will visit the site and take a range of photos of the development from the proposed angles and then we will help carefully select one or more of these photos and cut-in the proposed CGI building seamlessly. This is extremely helpful for planning applications and gaining approval from local authorities and parish councils. The use of Photomontage images doesn’t end there though; brown field sites and flagship town/city centre or harbour developments often have attractive surrounding infrastructure. This lends itself to using a photomontage image for marketing content.
Blue Cube were amongst the first CGI companies to offer 3D floor plans. We believe these are invaluable for selling a property, especially to members of the public who cannot read conventional 2D floor plans. They give an immediate feel for the layout of a property and an appreciation of the space.
By the same token, 3D site plans, otherwise known as three-quarter aerial views also convey how a whole development is laid out and looks very attractive, giving the impression that a scale model has been photographed – but for a fraction of the cost. These 3D site plans often get enlarged as prints for the sales centre wall as part of a display or used in exhibitions.
