The team at Blue Cube Studios would all like to wish Tony Nicol all the best for the future. Tony, one of the original founding directors, left the company on Friday 19th September to pursue other interests. The remaining founding Director, Richard Hart, will continue to drive Blue Cube through these exciting times. The same quality service and affordable prices will remain and we can expect to see the rapid growth and development of our animation studios spiral to new heights. A number of new 3D modelling and CG Animation Techniques are already being researched and tested. Investment into enhanced post production techniques and compositing technologies are also well under way.

The studio re-fit, which took place over the weekend, has now reached its final stage. The complete re-structuring and installation of network and uninterrupted power supply infrastructure all went in smoothly over the weekend. We also ripped out everything down the shell and installed brand new furniture and facilities – this was all done over the weekend and we were open for business as usual on the Monday. Phase 2 is the addition of a dedicated meeting/presentation room. Work on this will commence on Tuesday 22nd April and be complete by Wednesday 30th April. Check back for an update on this soon...

The virtual tours were also the main content of an important opening/presentation to local businesses and corporate bodies to win sponsorship and investment into the club. Turned around in just 3 weeks, with very little design specification available at the time, the animations were very well received and Blue Cube’s talent in using their architectural design knowledge to help fill some of the gaps became paramount to the success of this tight deadline and difficult brief.
